I was walking along a small stream in New Hampshire waiting for something to catch my eye.  I kept searching and searching until I saw a texture that stood out to me.  The freshly fallen birch leaves were as yellow as they could be since birch leaves, once off the tree, brown very quickly.  The water flowing gently over the dark rock acts as a perfect backdrop for the wet yellow leaves.
