One early morning I was exploring the seaside of Acadia when the ocean’s tide changed direction.  This caused larger and larger waves to form and crash against the rocks.  I knew where I wanted to put my camera, but I had to act quickly before the tide came in too much and I would be forced to retreat.  I was able to time the waves in order to get one breaking on the rocks as one broke offshore.  I love how the orange light reflects off the wet rock and mist from the breaking waves.
